Gorilla Rugby Academy started in 2018 to create an additional avenue for U14-U23 Rugby players to be able to travel and compete in higher level tournaments throughout the US. We would like to add trips to international tournaments in the fut.

Gorilla Rugby staff is committed to developing strong character both on and off the field in its players. We are dedicated volunteers who are passionate about sharing knowledge in the game of Rugby and developing strong competitors with a solid foundation of rugby fundamentals.

We strive to help each player grow their potential to the highest level possible by providing honest player assessments and direction to achieve their goals.

“It’s all about the effort” - The Gorilla Rugby approach to playing is focused around effort. Effort in preparation and effort in match play.

Players should be disciplined in the laws of the game, match strategies and game plan, as well as individual fundamentals. Fitness is critical, as a high pace of play and being aggressive in attack and defense are cornerstones for the team’s success.
